Add the Telegram bot
The bot uses the website language from a valid binding link. Send /language to see options, or /language zh or /language en to switch. Your choice is retained after restarts.
Before creating group or channel tasks, use an owner account or one with permission to add administrators. The bot needs administrator status to verify membership reliably.

Check the username:@fomopad_verify_bot
After using the quick-add link, check the bot's permissions in administrator settings.
Add to a public group
- Open group information, then Edit / Manage group. Confirm that it is public and has a username.
- Open Administrators → Add administrator and search for the bot username above. If it is not found, add the bot as a member first.
- Make the bot an administrator. Membership verification needs administrator status only, not permissions to delete messages, ban members, or add administrators. Keep only the minimum permissions required by the client.
- Copy the public group link, for example https://t.me/your_community.
Add to a public channel
- Open channel information, then Edit / Manage channel. Confirm that it is public and has a username.
- Open Administrators → Add administrator, search for the bot username, and add it.
- Confirm administrator status and disable unnecessary posting, editing, deleting, or administrator-management permissions. If the client requires at least one permission, retain the minimum needed to add the bot.
- Copy the public channel link. A linked discussion group is a different target; do not substitute its link for the channel link.
Return to airdrop configuration
Choose Join Telegram group or Subscribe to Telegram channel, enter the public link, and select Check bot configuration. Save after the check passes. The required Bind Telegram account task is added automatically.

- The bot is not an administrator
- Adding the bot as a member is not enough. Set it as an administrator, then check again.
- Invalid link or target type
- Only public username links are supported, not private invitation links starting with + or message links. A group task cannot use a channel link.
- The user joined but verification still fails
- Check that the Telegram account bound on the Social accounts page is the one that joined. Pending approval does not count as membership. Check whether the bot was removed or demoted.
- Requests time out or are rate-limited
- Retry later as instructed on the page. Do not add duplicate tasks. Users will not be incorrectly marked complete while configuration is unavailable.
Participants must link Fomo before binding Telegram. Each binding requires a seven-day wait before changing again. Leaving a group or changing the binding after successful task verification does not revoke completed status.
